In general language, Music is a form of art which expresses ideas and emotions through the rhythm or vocal instrumental sound. If you try to feel, you will find that Music is in everything. Listen to the sound of rivers, psithurism or the chirping of birds. You can even whistle to produce a kind of music or just by thumping the table.

Music is already an important part of daily life for most people. You may have been wearing headphones while commuting or jogging. Music also has a significant impact on us. It can influence thoughts, emotions, mood and behaviour. Some researchers suggest that music can help in making you happier and healthier. This is the reason Music is also used as therapy. Music can boost physical, emotional and mental state. It is also used to cope with stress and improve well being.

“Music therapy can make the difference between withdrawal and awareness, between isolation and interaction, between chronic pain and comfort - between demoralization and dignity,”
