In general language, Music is a form of art which expresses ideas and emotions through the rhythm or vocal instrumental sound. If you try to feel, you will find that Music is in everything. Listen to the sound of rivers, psithurism or the chirping of birds. You can even whistle to produce a kind of music or just by thumping the table.

Music is already an important part of daily life for most people. You may have been wearing headphones while commuting or jogging. Music also has a significant impact on us. It can influence thoughts, emotions, mood and behaviour. Some researchers suggest that music can help in making you happier and healthier. This is the reason Music is also used as therapy. Music can boost physical, emotional and mental state. It is also used to cope with stress and improve well being.

Different kinds of music have their own meanings and significance. They also have different effects in the brain of a person. For example, classical music is used for comfort and relaxation.

Positive effect on mind and body: If we want to see the potential of the child,then we can take help of music. Because childrens’ brains respond well to music. Our body also responds to the music.Mild instrumental and classical music can relax our mind. If we listen to music after or while solving a problem,then our mind or body are both relaxed and it is easy to do any other work and solve the problem.

We can also use music for relaxation techniques to reduce stress. These types of music are also available online.

Manage Pain: Music is also used for managing pain. Music affects our brain and CNS.Through this effect we can reduce the effect of pain.Sometimes ago we also saw few viral news on the media,in which some people underwent surgery using music therapy instead of anesthesia.

Influence Mood: Music can also be used to influence mood. Research shows that music helps people to regulate their emotions.

Memory Booster: Research found that listening to music triggers the release of several neuro chemicals that play a role in the brain function and mental health. It also shows music can also help dementia (Mild/moderate) patients to help their daily life things.

For Motivation: Music helps to improve and motivate a  person’s work performance. So we use music in offices, gym to motivate ourselves to work out longer workouts.

Reduce anxiety and depression: We can use music to reduce any type of anxiety and get into a peaceful state. Music exerts stress on hormones that increase anxiety and depression and reduce its level.

I don’t think there are many people who are not interested in listening to music. If you try adding music in your daily life. You will surely see a positive improvement.
